Day 1

Day 01: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Evening Sightseeing

  • Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh. Meet and greet by our representative, followed by transfer to your hotel.
  • Spend the day at leisure for complete acclimatization to the high altitude (11,500 ft / 3,500 m). Late evening our bike team will provide you a bike for Trails & Document procedure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 2

Day 02: Leh Local Sightseeing – Sangam Tour

  • Sangam (Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) - Witness the meeting of two mighty rivers, a popular spot for river rafting in summer

Day 3

Day 03: Leh - Nubra Valley (via Khardung La Pass)

  • After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (The Valley of Flowers) via Khardung La Pass (18,300 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads.
  • Enjoy stunning panoramic views from the top of the pass overlooking the Indus Valley and endless mountain ranges.
  • Descend towards Hunder, famous for its rolling sand dunes and Bactrian (double-humped) camels. You may also enjoy a camel safari (at own cost).
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 4

Day 04: Nubra Valley – Turtuk Village - Nubra Valley

  • After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a village first opened to tourists in 2010. It was annexed by India after the 1971 war and is one of the few Balti villages in India.
  • Explore the beautiful village known for its Balti culture, traditional stone utensils, apricot orchards, and scenic views of the Shyok Valley.
  • On clear days, you can catch a glimpse of the K2 Mountain Peak across the border in Pakistan.
  • Drive further to Thang (Zero Point) – the northernmost village of India at the Indo-Pak border, where binoculars can be hired to view Pakistani villages across the Line of Control.
  • Return to Hunder/Diskit by evening.

 

 

Day 5

Day 05: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shyok

  • Enjoy the scenic drive along the Shyok River as it winds through dramatic valleys and mountain landscapes.

Day 06: Pangong Lake – Umling La - Hanle

Day 07: Hanle – Tsomoriri (Approx. 160 Kms / 6-7 Hrs) – Back to Leh

En route, cross Mahe Bridge, enjoying spectacular views of the Changthang region — home to the nomadic tribes of Ladakh. Arrive at Korzok Village by late noon, situated on the western shore of the lake. The serene turquoise waters of Tsomoriri set against snow-capped peaks offer an unforgettable sight.
  • After exploring the area, drive back to Leh via Taglang-La Pass (17,582 ft) – one of the famous motorable road passes in Ladakh. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes along the Manali-Leh Highway.
  • Arrive in Leh by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 08: Leh Departure

Things to Carry:

  • Bring an Airtel or Jio Postpaid SIM for better network connectivity during the expedition.

  • Pack winter essentials including thermal wear, gloves, woolen caps, and jackets.

  • Carry a camera, mobile charger, and power bank to capture unforgettable moments of your adventure.

  • Include a raincoat, riding jacket, and cap for changing weather conditions.

  • Bring your personal medications and first-aid essentials.

  • Pack personal toiletries, sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, and other travel necessities.

  • For backpacking expeditions, carry a sturdy backpack with essential travel gear and avoid excess luggage.

 

Important Notes 

Check-in Policy

The standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to room availability.

Minimum Group Strength

A minimum of 10 riders is required for a Bike Expedition and 6 participants for an SUV Expedition. In case the minimum group size is not achieved, the tour operator reserves the right to cancel the departure or modify services such as Tour Marshal, Mechanic Support, Backup Vehicle, and Fuel Inclusion.

Itinerary Flexibility

The itinerary of the Bike & Backpacking Expedition may change due to weather conditions, road closures, traffic regulations, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Documentation Requirements

Every participant must carry a valid Government ID. A valid Driving License is mandatory for riders participating in the bike expedition.

Backpack & Luggage Policy

Only backpacks are allowed during the expedition. Maximum luggage capacity is 50 liters per person. Additional luggage will be charged at INR 500 per kilogram. Participants are responsible for their own luggage and valuables throughout the journey.

Leaving the Expedition Midway

Participants leaving the Bike & Backpacking Expedition before completion will bear all transportation costs for themselves and the motorcycle from the exit point to the designated endpoint.

Bike Damage & Responsibility

Any damage caused to the motorcycle due to accidents, negligence, poor riding skills, clutch plate burnouts, falls, or mishandling will be charged to the participant and must be settled before the tour concludes.

Additional Expenses

Any extra costs arising from adverse weather, landslides, roadblocks, natural calamities, political disturbances, transportation delays, extended hotel stays, or itinerary changes will be borne by the participant.

Tour Departure Changes

The tour operator reserves the right to reschedule departure dates within 20 days of the planned departure due to insufficient participation or operational reasons.

Force Majeure

The tour operator is not responsible for itinerary changes, delays, cancellations, or losses caused by flight/train disruptions, strikes, natural disasters, government restrictions, political events, or circumstances beyond operational control.

Helmets & Riding Safety

A standard-sized used helmet will be provided. However, participants are strongly advised to bring their own certified riding helmets for maximum comfort, fit, and safety during the Bike Expedition.

Personal Risk & Liability

Participation in the Bike & Backpacking Expedition is entirely at the participant's own risk. The tour operator, associated partners, hotels, and service providers shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, loss of belongings, or any unforeseen incidents during the journey.

Luggage & Valuables

Participants are solely responsible for the safety and security of their luggage, gadgets, documents, and valuables. Carry a compact daypack for essential and expensive items throughout the expedition.

Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be confirmed with a minimum 20% advance payment of the total package cost.
  • The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Leh.
  • Rooms are allotted on a double/triple/quad sharing basis (as per your plan)
  • Standard check-in time is 12:00 noon, and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
  • Early check-in / late check-out is subject to availability
  • Foreign nationals will have to pay an additional INR 400 per person for Protected Area Permits. (the extra cost is not included in the package)

 

Identification

  • All travellers must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID (Passport / Voter ID / Driving License / Aadhaar Card).
  • Foreign Nationals are required to carry a passport and valid visa/E-visa; Protected Area Permits will be arranged accordingly.

 

Vehicle Policy

  • Vehicles are provided on a point-to-point basis as per the itinerary (not on disposal).
  • AC will remain switched off in hilly areas and during uphill drives.
  • The driver will follow a fixed route mentioned in the itinerary. Extra sightseeing is directly payable to the driver

 

 

Changes or Delays

  • The company will not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes due to bad weather, political disturbance, road closures, landslides, or other natural/unforeseen causes.
  • Alternate arrangements will be made wherever possible, subject to availability.

 

Responsibility

  • The company acts only as a travel agent for hotels, transport, and other services.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Leh (UT of Ladakh).

 

6.    Warila Pass – Alternate Route (Shayok Route Closure)

  • In case the Shayok route is closed, the journey will be diverted via Warila Pass, a breathtaking high-altitude mountain pass.
  • Additional Cost (directly payable to the driver): INR 2,000 per vehicle (Innova / Xylo / Ertiga) and INR 5,500 per vehicle (Tempo Traveller).

 

  • Scenic Beauty: Warila Pass offers panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, vast mountain ranges, and pristine valleys. The route is often described as photographer’s paradise and is particularly loved by foreign travellers for its dramatic landscapes.
