Day 0

Day 0: Transit Day (Delhi - Manali Volvo)

  • Catch Volvo from Kashmiri Gate ISBIT. Overnight journey to Manali route.

Day 1

Day 01: Manali to Jibhi Ride

  • Arrived at Jibhi Hotel. Acclimatized and in Evening you will briefed about Tour.
  • Overnight stay at Jibhi.
Day 2

Day 02: Tirhtan Valley (Jibhi) – Sangla/Chitkul

  • Early morning after breakfast, we will start our ride to Jalori pass(3120m). Jibhi village is the base of the summit Jalori Pass.
  • Sharp curves start from Jibhi and are very steep till which reach the pass.
  • Jalori pass connects the Kullu district and Shimla district and its hight altitude location provides the enchanting views of Great Himalayan National Park.
  • We will descend to the other side from Jalori, the road has very bad patches till Anni but has very good view points in between.
  • We will arrive at Sangla by evening.
  • Overnight stay at Sangla/Chitkul.
Day 3

Day 03: Sangla – Chitkul – Kalpa

  • Post breakfast, basking in the first rays of the sun, we will drive towards Chitkul, the Last village.
  • Chitkul can be described as one of the most scenic settlements in the valley and the last inhabited village before the India-China border.
  • After spending time in Chitkul, we turn around and head to Kalpa. We drive to Kalpa, visit Sue-Side point at Kalpa Roghi road.
  • Arrived at Hotel by evening. Rest in Hotel in eveing, enjoy the views of Kinner Kailash from Kinnaur.
  • Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 4

Day 4: Kalpa – Nako – Tabo – Dhankar – Kaza

  • After breakfast, we drive through Sumdo, the first village of Spiti Valley on this road, to Tabo, which would be our first stop in the glorious, mystical Spiti Valley The second largest village of the Spiti Valley, Tabo, is known worldwide for its 1000-year-old Tabo Monastery.
  • Walk around this UNESCO world heritage site and gain a deeper insight into Buddhism.
  • Unlike other monasteries in the Spiti Valley Tabo monastery is located at the bottom of the valley.
  • After spending time in Tabo, we drive to the charming and high villages of Dhankar.
  • Dhankar, the former capital of the Spiti Valley offers panoramic views of Spiti Valley.
  • Dhankar stands perched above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin river. Perhaps there must have been a fort here once.
  • Dhankar is renowned for its 1200-year old monastery balanced precariously on a rocky precipice.
  • At the end of the day we drive to Kaza.
  • Overnight at a hotel in Kaza.
Day 5

Day 05: Kaza – kee –Langza – Hikkim – Komic – Kaza

  • Today we will drive to some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. Very first we visit the world famous Ki Monastery.
  • With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, the Ki Monastery situated at a height of 13,668 feet was founded by a disciple of the famous Atisha, in the 11th century CE.
  • Belonging to the Yellow Hat or Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, this monastery is famous as a prominent center of learning as well as a refuge for Tibetans.
  • Then, We drive to Langza. Langza village is situated at an altitude of 4400 meters and belongs to the Sakyapa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
  • Langza houses a population of 137 in 33 households. Once you are here, you can walk around the village and visit the ancient Lang (Temple) which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. At Langza, walk back to the prehistoric era when Spiti was submerged by the Tethys Sea, as you explore a land very rich with fossils of Marine animals and plants which were here millions of years ago.
  • Later, we drive to Hikkim where we visit the world’s highest post office in the world. If possible, you might even meet the post-master and hear his stories.
  • After sending out a postcard, The highest village in Asia, Komik, which literally translates to ‘eye of a snow cock’ , is situated at a height of 4513 meters. This farming village has a population of 84 people, living in utter isolation, cut-off from the rest of the world for most parts of the year.
  • By evening drive to Kaza.
  • Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 6

Day 06: Kaza –Kibber – Chicham Bridge – Losar – Kunzum La – Chandrataal

  • After early breakfast, we drive to one of the most photogenic places in Spiti Valley – the Chandratal Lake. But before that we will drive to the picturesque village of Kibber.
  • Located at a height of 4205 meters and 18 km from Kaza, this formerly highest permanently inhabited village in this region, is also a popular base camp to embark on adventure and treks to adjoining mountains of high altitude.
  • Then after, drive to Chicham bridge, which is considered as Asia’s Highest Bridge, which is inaugurated in September 2018. Later on, we pass through the high altitude pass of Kunzum La. Stop by at the stupa and pay tribute to the local goddess, “Kuzum Mata” as she's known.
  • At 15,000 feet above sea-level, the Kuzum Pass connects Kullu and Lahaul to the Spiti Valley.
  • From there, we head to Chandratal Lake – A visual marvel, this stunning blue-coloured lake is set at an altitude of 4,300 meters above sea level in the heart of high Himalayas and is a must see on a full moon night.
  • It derives its name, “Chandra” (Moon) and “Taal” (Lake) from the crescent shape of the lake. Watch the lake change colours from crystal clear shades of blue to emerald greens by dusk.
  • Overnight at a camp 2 km away from Chandratal Lake.
Day 7

Day 07: Chandrataal – Rohtang/Atal Tunnel – Manali.

  • On the next day of this Spiti Valley tour, drive from Chandratal Lake towards Manali. We take a quick stop at Batal for a cup of tea at a small tea shop run by a beautiful old couple. From there, we continue driving on the Kaza – Manali highway and stop at Chatru for lunch.
  • Drive through the famous Rohtang Pass and return to Manali to end your breath-taking Spiti Valley sojourn.
  • Here, we bid goodbye to your driver who’d have been your friend and guide for the last nine days.
  • Since there is no sightseeing included in your schedule in Manali, you are free to explore Manali on your own.
  • Overnight at Manali.

Day 08: Departure Day

What is included in the tour

  • A trusty backup vehicle tagging along for any support you might need.
  • A skilled mechanic cruising with you, just in case your bike needs a little TLC.
  • A Tour Marshall leading the way and making sure you don’t miss a beat.(with 8 or Riders only)
  • First aid box riding shotgun in the car.
  • All the sightseeing and excursions as per the thrilling itinerary

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Anything Extra: If it’s not on the list, it’s not in the deal.
  • Security Deposit for Bikes. (which will refund at the end of tour)
  • Costs from any bumps or bruises your bike might get on the journey.
  • Nature Unforeseen events like landslides or roadblocks – sorry, we can’t control Mother Nature.
  • Any entrance fees for the monastery and monument borne by visitors.
  • Any Leisure tour / additional tour other than mention above in itinerary.
  • Bike/Vehicle and fuel for additional days / time other than stated above as per itinerary.
  • Tips, Insurance, Laundry, Phone Calls, Guide Fee & Fee
  • Adventure activity costs (Pony Ride, Camel Safari, Rafting, paragliding etc)
  • Medical & Travel insurance
  • 5% GST, which is an additional charge applicable to the package.
